| What things have gone wrong with the car? | cramped back seat - but then hardly anyone will be riding in my back seat! | |
| General comments? | So far, I am extremely pleased with my new Corolla, have had it over a week now...it provides a very smooth ride and is very quiet - the visibility when you are looking behind you or to either side is very good...the dashboard is well designed - gauges easy to read - I love the interior of this car...you have a center armrest with a console containing a place for sunglasses, several storage compartments other than glove box, the cupholders are retractable and adjustable, this car has plenty of pep - 125 HP yet more torque and fewer rpm than the Civic, it has a timing chain rather than a belt, this will not need replacing until 90,000 miles! It has a good powertrain warranty (60,000 miles) which is better than some other popular competitors - so far, I can't find one thing about the '01 Corolla LE that I don't like! I think this would be a good choice for anyone wanting a small car that provides a smooth ride, gets good gas mileage, and comes with a longer warranty than the Civic - plus, Toyotas have a reputation for building reliable cars - which was a priority for me | |
