| What things have gone wrong with the car? | - Stupid 110mph speed limiter chip - Factory suspension too soft (even for an S model) | |
| General comments? | This is a follow up review 13 months ago. The car is great. It now has 11,400 miles. The engine just gets better and better. I now have an intake and exhaust system. The power if very good. I drove it to Vegas last summer in the 100 degree temperature, with 5 people, AC full blast, going 80mph... and still had power at the push of the pedal. I use Mobil 1 fully synthetic oil... it runs BETTER than brand new. I won't trick out this engine, but several years down the road, I'll toss in a 2zzge engine & 6spd tranny (2000 Celica GTS engine and tranny) and hunt bigger fish. Currently, V6 Mustangs are a JOKE... I eat them up all the time. Corolla eating up a Mustang... embarassing eh? | |
| Previous car | Civics -can't take the same abuse that a Corolla will survive through Altima -...errr it's a Nissan... Toyota & Nissan quality is... night and day. | |
