| | | General comments? | I have been an avid Toyota fan now for about 12 years. I purchased my first Corolla in 1990 and have owned a total of 7 Corollas since (see th similar products below). In fact, I now own 2!! My favorite has been the 2001 Corolla LE. This car has performed flawlessly for me for 3 years. And since 1993 I have not had a single car repair. Read that Again! In 10 years no single car repair. That means no fixes in the shop, no parts broken, no leaks, not a single issue. Only oil changes. I tell you - you can't beat that. Now, the car is a bit small if you have a large family or you are a large person. But, we have a family of 4 and have traveled many miles in ours. The trunk is well designed to hold luggage. The 2001 design has the best ride of all the Corollas so far and the car feels solid on the road. It's a bit heavier than the 1993-1997 series and rides more like a higher-end sedan. I'm very disappointed to hear about the 2003- series with the rattles and egg-smelling exhaust. The 1998-2002 series do not suffer these issues. | | | Previous car | 1988 Toyota Corolla
