| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Not quite enough leg room but acceptable. I've sat in more comfortable seats. | |
| General comments? | I bought my 2000 Corolla from Toyota dealer for about $13,500. I'm not sure of the exact amount because I had a trade and you all know how that confuses things. This was a rental car with 11,000 miles. So far it has been great. 32-34 mpg on average. This car has plenty of power for what I need. Passing is not a problem when I need to. Could use just a tad more leg room, but I found most compacts have a similar problem. I considered a Daewoo Nubira but after doing some serious research, I quickly changed my mind. I also considered the Sentras and Proteges, and they are good cars in their own right, but with my trade, I couldn't get as good of a deal with those dealers as I got with the Corolla. I find the ride to be very good. Takes bumps very well. Seats could be a little more comfortable, but overall I'm very happy with my choice. | |
