| What things have gone wrong with the car? | No leg room front or back; trunk hinges intrude into storage space. | |
| General comments? | Overall, I find the car acceptable. However, there have been problems; some mechanical and some fit and finish. All problems were covered by warranty: 1. replace malfunctioning rear window defogger switch. 2. replace ill-filling front seat covers 3. replace color mismatched handbrake handle 4. replace rusty jack 5. replace antenna assembly (exterior plastic trim split) 6. replace driver side door panel because of well known glue issue. 7. replace failed driver side manual window crank mechanism. 8. replace driver seatbelt assembly after well known sensor failure. 9. replace plastic fittings in front door panels because of rattles. This is the first Toyota I've had with so many replacement parts required. | |
