| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Just a few, but they are all kind of lame criticizms. -No clock...in my car, i have no idea why. -The trunk does not oopen from the inside. -Weak stock headlights, replacing the bulbs made them about 2 times brighter. -Poor audio system. -No tachometer. -Hard to find aftermarket upgrades, and the whole idea of how 'gay' modifying a corolla is. | |
| General comments? | So far this has been a great car! Even though the specs show that it only has a 10 hp advantage over the 1996 model, to me it doesnt seem so as this car is definately a WHOLE lot faster than my moms 1996, on that car, you floor it, the engine starts screaming yet you still dont go anywhere, while on the 1999 model, the engine still screams but the next thing you realize is that youre going 30mph over the speed limit... It handles high speeds pretty well too, no more steering wheel shaking all over the place on the freeway. Whoever says that driving this car is like driving a boat, try an accord or a camry, now those are boats! The only big complint i have about this car is the interior color, light brown just doesnt look good... | |
