| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Original tires (Firestone FR680) were terrible. Original audio speakers were terrible. | |
| General comments? | I've owned my '97 DX for 6 years now. This has been an excellent car. Outside of normal maintenance, I haven't had a single repair. Perfect, trouble-free reliability for 6 years, what could be better than that? I have the 1.8L engine, which provides a bit of pep, but is not the strong-point of the car. The seats are comfortable, it is quiet with the right tires, and I get great gas mileage for an automatic transmission - getting 39MPG on highway, 30MPG in town, and 33-34 going back and forth to work on an everyday basis. | |
