| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Cruddy factory stereo, ( 2 speakers 11 watts a side ). The 3 speed auto is not that good of a choice for this car. Other than that , excellent economy car all around. | |
| General comments? | This car is the best A to B car ever produced. IT JUST DOESNT BREAK. This car has ROCK solid reliablity. The car is currently at 120,000km and the only thing that has been replaced is the tires at 110,000km. This car still has the original brakes on it. This car has survived the canadaian winters and has done well , never failed to start in the cold. The only thing that I would recommend when buying one of these cars is get a five speed or the 4 speed automatic. In the 2000 Corolla that is not a problem anymore because the only auto transmission you can get is the 4 speed auto. I would most definatly recommend the car to anyone who is looking for a car with world class reliablity. You will not regret the purchase. The only problem is that you will be quickly sucked into wanting a nicer Toyota. | |
