| What things have gone wrong with the car? | In 1993 the auto tranny is a 3-speed, not enough gears for the 1.6L that wants more and more. I'm glad the new ones have a 4-speed with ECT VVTI.No RPM gauges. Brakes are up to the task but not amazing.Water pump was replaced once, besides that I never got stuck with it! | |
| General comments? | Great car to start driving or if you aren't into high perfomrance.Get a 5 speed for 2 more extra gears.Get sporty tires, don't put rims cause the car won't be able to accelerate as fast ( a friend of mine learned that after spending $1000 on rims )Excellent bang for the Back.GO TOYOTA!enough said. | |
