| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Didn't resist rust well. Because it was assembled in Japan, parts were sometimes difficult. | |
| General comments? | This was the most satisfiying vehicle I have owned. It is a beast in the snow. It was driven, without trouble in snow up to the headlights. The same snow storm "hung up" my Toyota pickup. It handles great under all driving conditions. It has good power for an engine of its size (even better after some minor modificaitons.) I was given this car by a family member who felt it had no value at 72,000 mi. In just over three years, my wife and I have put over 110,000 mi on this car. Much of it fully, if not overloaded. With 30+ MPG, all wheel drive handleing, and famous quality, its a shame that Toyota stopped making these. | |
| Previous car | Other than cargo and road visibility preferred to AWD Aerostar or Totota PU. I'd take one any day over a Subaru or Camry. | |
