| What things have gone wrong with the car? | Weak radio | |
| General comments? | A car's most basic function is to get you from point A to point B. Everything else is style and comfort. With that in mind I purchased my first new car ever in 1991 based on reliability. It was a basic Toyota Corolla with 5 speed manual transmission. Since then I have changed the oil every 3,000 miles and the timing belt every 90,000 miles. Now, at 205,000 miles I am still happily driving away. Reliable? YOU BET! Even the air conditioner has kept cold in the hot summer heat of Texas for the last 12 years with nary a problem. The car's continued low maintenance has allowed me to save up for a new Corolla. That is if this one ever gives out. | |
