| | | General comments? | The Toyota Corolla has become a common car in the US, partially due to the good reputation that this model has built up.
My SR-5 was very reliable, even for its high mileage (around 170k mi). I did need to change the head and radiator, and Toyota claimed that their warranty didn't cover this anymore. Poor service!
After an accident, the battery fell into the fan of the radiator, splattering battery acid all over the engine lock and the oil pan started leaking after driving over a speed bump a little too fast.
I learned my lesson: I will not buy a sports car again. | | | Previous car | Ford Escort. Don't. Just get a Japanese car. |
